As the year comes to an end, let’s reflect on the fantastic parade of Top Work, Trader Spotlights and achievements that we’ve enjoyed in 2025.
January
Our Top Work for 2025 kicked off with Marshall Heating for the provision of gas central heating and plumbing services in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire.
February
Storm-battered February saw Inspired Roofing Solutions nab top spot thanks to their sterling work protecting homes in and around Redditch from the elements, gaining them some fantastic reviews from happy customers.
March
Experienced tree surgeon and landscaping professionals UK City Trees won cream of the crop in March, thanks to the incredible job they do maintaining landscapes for commercial and residential clients in and around South London.
April
April’s Top Work award went to AK Power Ltd. with over 70 reviews in just 2 years and an impressive 4.98 stars, the team are meeting rising demand for vehicle chargers in homes across London, Essex, Hertfordshire, and Kent.
April also saw 10-year member of Trust A Trader, Mr O Removals, win highly commended at the East of England Small Business Awards; a well-deserved award for a member with nearly 500 reviews!
May
With the warmer weather, it was time to turn our attention to the garden, and what better way than by celebrating the fantastic work of Carshalton-based Jay’s landscapes?
We also caught up with Manchester building firm, Builders Squad, to talk about their favourite jobs and what makes them a trusted option for clients in Greater Manchester.
June
As summer approached, we turned our attention to The Double Glazing Doctor, the go-to service for double glazing repairs and replacements in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.
Additional spotlights shone on Just Services Group for their unrivalled heating engineering and gas fitting services in London, and G J Smith Roofing, the Dunstable-based roofer that has been lead by skilled owner, Gary, since the ‘80s.
July
July saw electrical firm Hallows Electrical Services bestowed with the accolade of Top Work of the Month. Serving Cosely, Tipton and the wider West Midlands, the team at Hallows Electrical Services Ltd. have a wealth of expertise, which they bring to happy customers for jobs big and small.
July also saw two trader spotlights from outstanding traders DH Roofing in Banstead, and Wisbech-based Baseline Paving.
August
At the height of summer, we saw Archer’s decorating bring home the prize, thanks to their almost-perfect score from happy customers in and around Weymouth and Dorchester.
September
September’s top spot went to London building firm London Elite Trades Ltd. The firm specialises in quality commercial and domestic conversions, providing architects, project managers and skilled tradespeople to ensure outstanding results for projects of all sizes.
October
The penultimate Top Work crown of 2025 went to Gulf Builder UK Ltd. Based in Kingston Upon Thames, this building firm offers the full range of services, from complete rebuilds to masonry repairs.
November
The final Top Work Spot went to Exeter-based South West Painters and Decorators, who manage to bring outstanding quality and cheer all year round for happy customers in Devon and Cornwall.
